How to make DIY make-up removing wipes? My simplest recipe

Make-up removal is a very important thing as it lets you get rid of make-up residue and all impurities, as well as makes the skin radiant and healthy-looking. Too bad, many girls still tend to skip this stage of beauty routine, exposing the skin to the occurence of blemishes and pimples. This lack of evening care results from various things. For example, finding the right remover might be challenging. If you also haven’t found a perfect product yet, take a look at my recipe for DIY make-up remover.

Face make-up removal does matter

By doing daily make-up removal, you let your skin function the right way:

  • you remove the excess of sebum, dust, sweat, etc.;
  • you take off make-up products which have settled in the skin pores;
  • you prevent the occurrence of acne;
  • you keep your bedsheets and towels clean;
  • you ensure better absorption of cosmetics;
  • you protect the skin against aging;
  • you make the skin prettier and healthier.

How to make make-up removing wipes?

You need the following ingredients:

  • 2 spoons mineral water;
  • several drops essential oil (tailored to your skin type);
  • 2 spoons beauty oil (answering the needs of your skin);
  • 2 spoons plant extract (having the effect that works for your type of skin).

Mix the oils, plant extracts and water well. If you prefer a make-up remover in a liquid form, simply pour the blend into a pump bottle. However, if you’re more into make-up wipes, follow the next steps of the recipe.

Cut a paper towel roll in half and put it inside a leaktight container. Pour the prepared mixture inside, close the container and shake well. Once the towels soak the liquid, take out the cardboard roll. Always use the wipes from the middle of the roll first.

How to use DIY make-up removing wipes?

You use them exactly the same way as any other remover wipes. Gently rub the skin until fully removing make-up. Remember to be careful while taking eye products off as harsh rubbing motions irritate the epidermis and weaken the eyelashes. When make-up removal is done, use a pH-balancing face toner and smooth a moisturizer over the skin.
